Wushu: Navy Rakesh who won bronze medal for India

 hoisted the tricolor in Georgia  

made the country proud by winning bronze medal!

Uran :- - Rakesh Manoj Bedi, who represented India in the -75 kg weight category at the International Wushu Championship to be held in Georgia, won bronze medal for the country, which has created an atmosphere of joy in the village and city! 

Through the Indian Wushu Association, a selection competition for the Indian team was organized from May 2 to May 6, 2025 at Raipur, Dehradun, Uttarakhand state, in which Indian Navy soldier Rakesh Manoj Bedi was selected for the Indian team in the -75 kg weight category. This international wushu competition is being held in Batumi, Georgia from 01 August to 06 August 2025 and Rakesh Manoj Bedi hoisted the Indian flag by winning a bronze medal in the senior 75 kg weight category!

Rakesh Manoj Bedi had secured 5th position in Asia at the 9th Asian Championships held in Amman, Jordan! He had won a silver medal for India in the 75 kg weight category at the 5th Acropolis Wushu International Championships held in Athens, Greece from 28 February to 03 March 2025! Rakesh Manoj Bedi, a resident of Kharak Kalan village in Bhiwani, is continuously training while serving in the Indian Navy and has secured his place in the Indian team for the upcoming national and international competitions. Rakesh Manoj Bedi is posted at (FHQ) INS Tunir Mumbai (HQWNC).
