SARVA VIKAS KENDRA CELEBRATES 'WOMEN'S DAY'

 


Raigad :- (Naresh Patil) :On the occasion of International Women's Day, Sarva Vikas Kendra (Mhashla) organised Women's Day Celebration on 6th of March 2025. The programme took place in Ghansar Marriage Hall. It started at 12:00 pm. Around 100 Katkari Tribal Women from various Adiwasi Wadis gathered for this celebration. Mr. Madhav Jadhav, the BDO of Mhasla was invited as the Chief Guest. Other dignitaries such as Shri Dattatreya Gangaram Shinde, The Taluka Krushi Aadikari, Mr. Naresh Ganpath Jamkar,  The Krushi Pariveshak Sankhaki, Mr. Rajendra Anandrao Dangaare, The Mandal Krushi Aadikari, Mhasla and Dr. Shraddha Machindra Patil from The PHC were also present for the same.  Sr. Iline Navagekar (Avline) The Director of Sarva Vikas Kendra accompanied the guests to the Dias in a procession. 

  The programme started with the Lightning of the Samai and thereafter the Chief Guest garlanded the portrait of Savitribai Phule... Mr. Naresh Jadhav was the master of the ceremony and did a great job throughout the programme... The Guests were introduced to the audience and each of them were welcomed with a rose flower. All of them spoke on the Importance of Women in the Society and the vital role they play in building a healthy society... They encouraged the women with their valuable guidance and expressed their eagerness to help the women as much as they can. This was followed by a cultural programme that included energetic dances, motivational skit and inspiring songs by the Kishori girls and SVK Staff... All enjoyed the programme...

 The celebration concluded with a communitarian meal...  Meanwhile Fr. Thomas Sequeira, Directof Sarva Vikas Deep (Mangaon), Social worker Abdul Shakoor Bhai Ghansar shared the dias with dignitaries.  Social worker Mahesh More and CSA Co-ordinator Raigad unit Ruchika Salian attended the event...  Whereas Mrs. Jyoti Naresh Jadhav, represented from the Women side. Meanwhile SVK's members Sr. Jovina D'costa and Sr. Ruby Monteiro and staffs Harshala Kamble, Harashada Jadhav, Mohini Pawar, Shruti Jangam, Vishal Waghmare and Jyoti Jadhav strived hard to make the event a grand successful one...
