Saharanpur (U.P.): Personnel from the Indian Armed Forces (Navy, Army, Air Force) made the nation proud by excelling in the National Ju-Jitsu Championship. Rakesh -77 kg (Navy), Shubham -69 kg (Army), and Suman Kumari +70 kg (Navy) achieved significant victories.
The Ju-Jitsu championship was held from October 9, 2025, to October 12, 2025, at Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Sports Stadium in Saharanpur (Uttar Pradesh).
The results are as follows:
Shubham secured the Gold Medal in the -69 kg weight category.
Rakesh secured the Gold Medal in the -77 kg weight category.
Suman Kumari secured the Silver Medal in the +70 kg weight category.
Rakesh, the player and coach who accompanied the team, expressed gratitude to the Commanding Officer, INS Tunir (Western Naval Command), and the Commanding Officer, 15 Rajput, Indian Army. Special thanks were also extended to Nitin Tyagi, L. Robertson Singh, Sumit Kumar Suhag, N.
